How many fun charity events can you squeeze into one weekend? We dare you to find out. Les Dames d’Escoffier International are hosting An Autumn Affair tonight to benefit local food charities and their scholarships. My Sister’s House is holding its annual Bubbly and Brew on Friday to support its domestic violence programs. The American Heart Association’s Lowcountry Heart Walk on Saturday will raise money for heart disease and stroke prevention. Chase After a Cure is having a Hole Lot of Fun on Sunday to fight childhood cancer. Now go.

The Taste of Charleston, which started 30-plus years ago as a mere one-day event, has grown into a full, multi-event weekend of deliciosity (it’s our birthday; we’re allowed to make up words). |
